Eco-Friendly Water Filters - Keep those plastic bottles out of my land fill!

Go Green! Be kind to the earth! You can't go a day without hearing these words in print, radio, tv and film. Not to mention your community leaders. Communities throughout America have a common problem.....landfill space. Recycle is the most common solution to reduce the amount that goes into the landfill but what can be done to eliminate what goes in. The solution is to discover alternatives to wasteful products. One such waste is plastic water bottles. A simple solution is to instead us reusable bottles and filter your own tap water.
Water filters are not a new product. There are refrigerator water filters, gravity feed water filters, tap water filters, and even whole house water filters. You can even filter your shower water. With all of these products why purchase individual plastic water bottles? Convenience. But at a cost.
The next time you think about purchasing a plastic water bottle consider using a water filter to filter you own water. The earth will thank you later.
