Ms Tu has worked in a wide spectrum of human resource management, roles in the Singapore, Australia and internationally, with a long track record in the human resource sector notably in the hospitality, gaming and services industries.
"I have enjoyed working close to many of the commercial topics relating to human resources, recruitment and corporate services," said Ms Tu this week. "I have also experienced the excitement of research and the challenges of international operations and consulting. And I look forward to ensuring that MacauHR maintains and develops its role in championing the vital role that human resources and those who practice them play in the future prosperity and well-being of the population, economy and environment".
Ms Tu, who holds both a Masters in HRM and Industrial Relations, brings to her MacauHR role a portfolio of experience that complements many of MacauHR's current and future strategic objectives such as working for sustainable human resource and recruitment, better interaction with industries in Macau, support for training and publications, a field in which MacauHR is already a leading player. Ms Tu joins MacauHR after a successful career with online human resource giant, Monster.com.
MacauHR has recently widened its interests and influence in Asia and therefore values Ms Tu’s own experience working in Asia particularly as being a substantial asset in future developments in the region.
