Madeleine Innocent, author of her new ebook, Naturally Healthy Cats, is thrilled to announce its’ release. Madeleine comments ”the aim behind the ebook is to show cat people around the world how easy it is to return the health of their cat to the fun loving kitten they used to have. When I was first told by my veterinarian, that I should change my cat’s diet, I really didn’t know what to do or how to go about it. I made lots of mistakes. I want to show people that it really can be so easy, and very cost effective. The other huge upside of this, is that a cat’s tendency to hunt is greatly diminished.” Madeleine feels that she is contributing to preserving wildlife in addition to promoting healthy cats, not a generally acknowledged combination.

Madeleine is passionate about the health, not only of cats, but also other animals and people. She believes that diet plays a crucial part in good health and should always be addressed as a priority, before looking at other measures. She says “a good diet on its own, can cure many illnesses”.

Many holistic vets around the world are finding that the health of their patients greatly improves when they are fed a diet which is close to that of their wild cousins. And these are problems normally termed ‘incurable’ such as feline leukaemia, heart disease, cancer.

Foods are so complex, we still don’t understand a lot about them. Some years ago, scientists discovered the amino acid, taurine, which is essential to cats health. Within 10 minutes, she came into the kitchen asking for food. She never looked back after that and went on to live another two years of quality life.”
