April 15, 2008—Georgetown, Texas—Bar None Coffee Co. will soon offer customers the ability to enjoy premium coffees from around the world, one cup at a time, by introducing the first Clover VacuumPressTM coffee machine in Georgetown, Texas.
The Clover 1sTM brews incredible coffee in under a minute while bringing out the subtle nuances of coffee through complete, independent control of all of the important brew parameters: grind size, dose, water temperature, and contact time. The Clover gives Bar None Coffee Co. the ability to brew every cup to order according to each coffee's unique characteristics, in a fraction of the time of other single-cup brewing methods.
Bar None Coffee Co. will offer premium Fair Trade, Organic, Single Origin Micro-lots and Cup of Excellence coffees on the Clover. Customers will find that they appreciate the freshness along with the enhanced flavors and expression of each cup of coffee.
"We are planning to take the coffee experience in Georgetown to the next level and become a 'destination' espresso & coffee establishment ... having the first Clover brewer in Texas, outside of Austin, is a big step to getting there" said Linda Silva, owner.
"Without a doubt, the Clover makes the best cup of brewed coffee I've ever had. We've got some of the best coffee beans in the world and now we'll have the best machine in the world to brew them," said Chuck Silva, Bar None Coffee Co. Operations Manager.
Installation is scheduled for the 29th of April. A dedication ceremony and coffee tasting event is planned after an initial burn-in period.
"May 14th is our one-year anniversary and we wanted to do something special. Since coffee is our core business, I don't believe we could do anything more special than providing the freshest, best cup of brewed coffee ever," said Chuck Silva.
Prices on Clover-brewed coffee will average about 25 cents more a cup than the current brew.
"Customers will be able to come in and pick their coffee from a menu of current offerings. About 90 seconds later, they'll be enjoying it immensely," said Linda Silva.
