Second Annual Studs & Suds Charity Car Wash

(Free-Press-Release.com) April 23, 2008 -- HOUSTON - By popular demand, Houston Texas Fire Fighters Federal Credit Union is hosting its Second Annual Studs and Suds Charity Car Wash on Saturday, May 17 from 10 am until 2 pm. All proceeds will benefit the Houston Firefighters Burned and Crippled Children’s Fund (BACCF).

BACCF is an organization founded by Houston firefighters to aide children victimized by fire and gives Houston firefighters the mechanism they need to continue helping through the recovery process. To date, BACCF has raised over $1.5 million to help area children.

Houston Firefighters featured on the 2008/2009 Houston Texas Firefighters Calendar have graciously agreed to donate their time to wash cars and help bring in much needed donations.

The cost for the car wash is $15 per car and $20 per truck. Discounted tickets will be available up until May 16 at the Main Office location of the credit union.
