Former college athlete Jerry (Jay) White, has passion for changing negative beginnings into positive endings in the lives of those persons who have been made outcasts by society (namely African American males) and instilling God’s principles of faith in the lives of those whose paths he crosses. Despite not having any education in theater, motion pictures, film, video or any training related to such, Jay put his vision from God to use by writing and directing his first piece Get Right or Get Left, (a feature length film) at the age of 28. Now in his early thirties, Jay has written numerous scripts including a stage play entitled “We Must Go Forward vol.1 The Passion of the Black Man” that ran at the Rialto Theater in Atlanta, and in Cincinnati, Ohio at the Aronoff Theater. Jay plans to film his “revolutionary” piece entitled “We Must Go Forward vol.1 The Blueprint” in the summer of 2008.
Bessie Winn is quickly becoming one of the most passionate, effective, and relatable youth speakers of her generation. The former Miss Black Georgia USA, has been featured in EBONY magazine, and in many other periodicals. Ms. Winn is a professionally trained actress, motivational speaker, and coach. Through her personal stories of challenges and achievement, she inspires and empowers audiences to make lasting changes. Winn is the older sibling of two younger brothers who are high school athletes signed to major colleges in the fall.
