United States of America (Press Release) April 25, 2008 --
LAS VEGAS (April 24, 2008) – At the 2008 International Garage Door Expo (IDA Expo 2008) being held here this week, Linear LLC, an innovator in access control, door operator, gate operator and RF products will exhibit the latest in its line of garage door operators and access control systems in booth 8043. New products include a new DC-powered residential door operator and a new garage door operator with power comparable to ¾ HP for residential and light commercial applications. Dealers receive tremendous value from Linear through built-in product flexibility, allowing them to make more money by stocking fewer Linear products.
Highlighting the display at this year’s Door Show will be the new LCO75 with a motor comparable to ¾ HP which is capable of handling today’s heavier residential garage doors as well as light commercial door installations. LCO75 is designed to work with 7’, 8’ and 10’ doors for residential applications and 12’ and 14’ door for commercial applications. Linear also will introduce 12’ and 14’ I-beam rails. Now installers can stock one heavy-duty door operator for multiple installations.
The LDCO800 is the newest addition to the Linear residential garage door operator line, featuring a DC-powered motor for quieter operation and long-lasting performance. The LDCO800 includes advanced features, such as accurate speed and position control and a soft start/stop for smooth and quiet operation. It is housed in a compact, easy-to-install package and is compatible with Linear’s standard or I-beam converted 7-foot, 8-foot and 10-foot belt and chain drive rails.
Linear also will display its best-selling garage door operators, the LSO50 and the LDO50/33. The LSO50 is Linear’s premium residential garage door opener with a one-half horsepower motor for either belt or chain drive with dual 100-watt courtesy light. The LDO50 is Linear’s deluxe residential garage door opener with a one-half horsepower motor, and the LDO33 is the standard unit with a one-third horsepower motor. Each unit comes with a Linear deluxe wall station and a three-button remote control, as well as a self-check diagnostic system that monitors performance and quickly pinpoints trouble conditions.
Linear will be displaying its complete line of access control and garage door opener products in IDA Expo booth 8043. For more information about Linear’s complete line of access control products, visit the company online at www.linearcorp.com.
