New Errand Service opens just in time for Mother's Day

(Free-Press-Release.com) April 25, 2008 -- According to a recent report by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, there are nearly 16 million two-income families in this country. And when everybody’s out in the workplace, no one’s left at home to take care of all those little things that take up so much of a day--things like finding a birthday cake for a kid’s party, tracking down a service to hem slacks, running the car to the shop, standing in line at the post office, or making hotel and dinner reservations for visiting guests.

This new service will entail errand services for professionals, new moms, college students, retirees, and anyone who would generally enjoy more free time. Since 1969, family time for a working couple has shrunk an average of 22 hours a week according to the U.S. Government. I will work with my clients to create a plan suited to their budget and lifestyle. I’m offering reliable service, and convenience at a great value in order to allow people to do the things they want to, instead of things they have to do.

According to a recent study conducted by the Families and Work Institute (FWI), a nonprofit center for research that provides data on the changing workforce, it is now necessary for 78% of married couples to work in order to maintain the lifestyle that they desire. The same study also discovered: 36% of workers say that they feel completely used up at the end of the workday, 85% of workers have daily family responsibilities to return to, 70% of parents feel that they do not spend enough time with their children, and
weekends are consumed by errands and housekeeping

There is no similar service available in this area, and I believe people will appreciate the ability to “hire out” the errands they don’t have time to do.
