Endependence.info gives a comprehensive view on the energy challenges by featuring videos and related links in their Research and ‘Things We Like’ sections and featuring Energy saving products like automobiles, construction related products, appliances, solar power etc. in the ‘Selection’ section of the website.
Endependence.info also allows people visiting their website to get down to street level to take action to solve their energy challenges in two sections (Action and Declaration).
The ‘Action’ section lists local product and service vendors that sell, finance, install and maintain energy saving equipment sorted by zip code. These business listings are provided free of charge in the business’ local zip code.
Finally, in the Declaration of Endependence section of the website, people can share how they are saving energy with those around them (zip code sorted). The people who are out ahead in saving energy can act as an example for their friends and neighbors.
