Successful Golf-A-Thon for Chandler’s Food and Clothing Bank

Chandler, AZ, April 2008: Chandler Christian Community Center held a fundraising event on Saturday, April 5, 2008 at Bear Creek Golf Course to benefit the programs and services of CCCC; this is the 3rd annual Golf-A-Thon at Bear Creek golf course. The Golf-A-Thon event, which included a luncheon, as well as a raffle for prizes, was very well attended and was sponsored by CHW-Chandler Regional/Mercy Gilbert Hospital. “Special thanks go to Board of Directors and the members of the committees who worked very hard to make this event possible,” said Brenda Simmes-Development Director. “I continue to be amazed at the level of generosity afforded to us by this community.” The celebration raised in excess of $16,000. CCCC thanks all participants, donors, supporters and volunteers for their generous support.

Chandler Christian Community Center, a United Way partner organization, now in its 41st year, is dedicated to the improvement of family life. CCCC helps families with the emergency food and clothing bank and by providing community education, support and resources for parents in need of assistance.
