Building A Profitable Opt In List the Quick and Easy Way

After reading countless articles, sought expert advice and have read many success stories, you decide to build one of your own. Then it happens, you think you know everything there is to know about opt-in lists, have followed their advice to the "T" and still were not able to make a profit.

The fact is, you may be losing money. You may be hiring writers to help and/or incur some expenses. Regardless of building a huge list, only a very small percentage actually buy. You’ll realize this after you analyze your statistics and sales figures.

So what could have gone wrong? Why have others succeeded where you have failed? Just because you've built your list, doesn’t mean people are going to buy instantly.

For those who are starting, here are three quick and easy ways to build a profitable opt-in list.

1) Create an effective presentation (ie website). If you look at what the successful people do online, they present a website that is based around them. One of the biggest mistakes I made when first starting in direct sales was promoting a "generic" capture page. With my team, I emphasize the importance of "branding". I assist my team in building a solid presentation, based around them. It's all about holding your audience's attention, if you do that, your list will grow.

2) Build trust with your list. This is of paramount importance. The certain truth is, the money will come when your list trusts and gets to know you. It's very important to remember, in order for you to "make money", someone has to "spend the money". So ask yourself one thing, are you giving people enough reason to spend their money? You have to provide them a service that could be a good exchange for their money (also includes but not limited to free books, advice, leadership, knowledge, etc).

3) Make friends with other opt-in list users. Experienced opt-in list users will be able to tell you what to do, and what not to do because they have the experience. While different situations occur for different people, the general concept can still be very helpful. There are many things to avoid and these people will be able to tell you which ones. It's important to surround yourself with successful people and learn from them.

Building a profitable opt-in list doesn't happen overnight. Opt-in lists are built from scratch. The Rainmakers priority is to help people build a successful online business.
