Harry "Skip" Dittmann Joins Firm as Vice President

KING OF PRUSSIA, PA (April 29, 2008) — Girard Partners Ltd., an integrated wealth management solutions firm, announced today that Harry “Skip” Dittmann has joined the firm as Vice President. Skip has 35 years of financial experience and brings a broad range of investment and banking knowledge to Girard Partners.
In his role as Vice President, Skip will be responsible for leading, developing, and managing long-term investment strategies for the firm’s clients, who consist of high net worth individuals and families.

Before joining Girard Partners, Skip was Senior Vice President and Director, Portfolio Management, at Calibre, the Family Office of Wachovia Bank, where he managed and executed investment strategies for over 50 high net worth families with marketable assets in excess of $7 billion.
At CoreStates Bank, Wachovia’s predecessor, Skip was Vice President and Portfolio Manager of the Family Wealth Group, Asset Management Division, responsible for the investment management of families and foundations with assets in excess of $20 million. Earlier, Skip was Vice President and Sales Manager of the Capital Markets Division, where he provided investment services to retail and institutional investors, in addition to overseeing the sales force in three regional offices.
Skip was also an Assistant Investment Officer for the Portfolio and Funds Management Division of Mellon Bank.
Skip holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the U.S. Naval Academy, and retired from the U.S. Navy in 1995 after completing 33 years of active duty and reserve service. He serves on numerous boards including the Philadelphia Securities Association, 1260 Housing Development Association, and the Philadelphia Mental Health Corp.
