TRADITIONIAL MARTIAL ARTS NOT CONSIDERED A SPORT, HOBBY OR REWARD FOR GOOD BEHAVIOR

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) May 1, 2008 -- “Parents should have a different view about extracurricular activities. We’re not the same as a sport, such as
football, basketball, or gymnastics. Our role is very different”, says Theros. “If a child is struggling in school or with
their behavior then that’s the BEST reason to keep them involved in the Martial Arts. We will go to work and
change that child’s mental framework which will then allow that child to improve in school and improve their
behavior.”

Master Theros makes an interesting point with this question, “Would you wait until your plumbing problem improved before calling a plumber? You can poor all the Liquid Plumber down the drain you want, but, until the real issue is resolved, you’re going to continue having problems with your plumbing.”

According to Master Theros Traditional Martial Arts training is every bit as important as any other form of
education. “The problem is that many parents haven’t yet figured this out. It can make a HUGE difference in a
child’s behavior and efforts in school. That’s what we do BEST; build confidence, self-esteem and respect in
children. Until the inside is fixed, any results will be temporary. Would you pull your child from math class because
he was having trouble with his language arts class?”

Master James Theros is a father of 4 children (who’s youngest daughter was held back in 3rd grade but, through traditional martial arts training, was able to move on and is now doing well in school) and has taught many hundreds of kids how to develop better self-esteem and improve their grades.
