United Kingdom of Great Britain & N. Ireland (Press Release) May 2, 2008 -- Leading law firm Oxley & Coward has added to its increasing senior management team with the appointment of two lawyers to the position of partner Mamoon Chaudhary and Chris Harvey.

Mamoon Chaudhary has been with the firm for five years and is appointed as partner - Property Litigation and Dispute Resolution. Mamoon lives in Doncaster and has a great pedigree, having previously worked for Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council, Nabarro Nathanson, and Price Waterhouse Coopers.

Commenting on the appointment, Mamoon said: “I am delighted to realise my ambition of becoming a partner at Oxley & Coward. We now have a great opportunity to further increase the firm’s profile in the community and become the first choice to consult when people encounter unexpected problems in their personal or business lives.” Mamoon is a graduate of both Leeds and Sheffield Universities. Mamoon has recently become Section Head of the Property Litigation / Dispute Resolution section.

Chris Harvey also joins the ranks of partner at Oxley & Coward, after just over two year’s service with the Rotherham firm. He is appointed to the position of partner – Commercial Property. Chris is a born and bred Rotherham lad who also has an impressive track record, having previously held positions with HLW, NatWest, and Taylor & Emmet.

”It’s a breath of fresh air working at Oxley & Coward,” said Chris. I joined the firm primarily to take more control of my own destiny and have the opportunity to make more of an impact. I have found in the past that being a small cog contributing to a very large corporate wheel can be frustrating and not greatly rewarding. I’m pleased to say that so far it’s working out even better than could have been expected, and the firm goes from strength to strength.”
