Gudbudie's Mystery and Sci-Fi Journal May 2008 Issue Is Online and Ready For Viewing!
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Rochester, MN -May 2, 2008 - Gudbudie's Mystery and Sci-Fi Journal, a free online magazine dedicated to mystery and science fiction fans has just released the May 2008 issue for the viewing public.
The name of the magazine is "Gudbudie's Mystery and Sci-Fi Journal" and could be found at http://www.geocities.com/gudbudie . It is published in the PDF format and can either be read online or downloaded.
Along with the free magazine one will find writing tips as well as a monthly writing contest for aspiring writers in the mystery and science fiction fields. The winners of each month's contest will be published in the following issue.
The reason for the magazine, according to Michael Rener, is that there are just not enough outlets for legitimate authors of mystery and science fiction short stories. These are very popular genres, yet the so-called literary magazines dismiss these stories as trash and pulp. Well there is a great market for this so-called "trash and pulp". It is the general public, including myself.
Find out more about the magazine and the contest at http://www.geocities.com/gudbudie .
