(Los Angeles - May 2, 2008) Actor, Kristina Hughes ('Frost/Nixon', 'Old School', 'Boston Legal'), stars in the psychological thriller, 'Green River', set to premiere in Hollywood at the Laemmle Sunset 5 Theatre on May 8th, 2008 (2 showings; 7:30PM w/ Q&A & 10:00PM).
Regarding working on 'Green River' Kristina notes that it was a "liberating experience" - one that enabled her to create dynamic character traits lined with a disturbing undertone of inner-turmoil.

About 'Green River'
The independent feature film 'Green River', produced by Mayon Film in association with Ostrow and Company obtained foreign and domestic distribution. Moving Pictures Film and Television, a division of Maitland Primrose Group (MPG), acquired the foreign rights, while Vanguard Cinema will distribute domestically.
'Green River' is a psychological thriller about a woman seeking closure with her sister's disappearance. Charisma Kavanagh and her friend Allison Chase return to Green River, the last known whereabouts of Charisma's sister. They encounter Jack Walker, a mysterious local man who arouses suspicion in Allison. As Allison becomes increasingly paranoid and dangerous, Charisma is forced to choose between trusting her life with her friend or a stranger.
Written by Sam Taybi and Tim Durr, 'Green River' was helmed by Sam Taybi, and stars Kristina Hughes, Danielle Franke, and Peter Bruce.
