Phoenix, AZ based designer and manufacturer of flash drives, USB Source is launching their new digital picture frames division. Partnering with LG Electronics to supply LCD screens and M-Logic boards

They will provide the O/S platform and hardware the new digital picture frames division will be available to both the retail and the promotional products industry.
Announcing the new division, Peter Thomas, COO for USB Source states “ We saw a huge opening in the marketplace for the next generation of digital picture frames. The current generation of frames has a difficult to understand interface and lacks the basic “drag and drop” functionality most users want. The new models are truly plug and play”.
This is important to both the retailer and the promotional products markets for a number of key reasons.
Last holiday season saw the demand for digital frames quadruple as prices came down. However retailers and distributors had a very high return rate due to the lack of ease of the digital frames operations. Best Buy V.P. of sales Barry Thompson explains” The interface and the user manuals were very difficult to understand for our customer. The customer wanted the technology but found the set-up and use very hard to understand. We expect this new M-logic solution with the LG LCD to solve all of these problems”.
The new USB Source digital frames are available at present for sale to the promotional products industry and are currently being booked for Holiday 2008.

They meet monthly to bring to the table their designs and marketing plans. In 2005 USB Source bought a manufacturing plant in Shenzen China. This move gave them a far greater control on quality and accountability.
USB Source has had triple digit growth each of the past 4 years. The company is privately held.
