Gianni Profita Eassy's Abstract: The issue of tax incentives and financing schemes devised by national governments worldwide to support the cinematographic industry has significantly influenced the development of successful products and companies and is now undergoing deep changes and structural adjustments. This paper aims at describing, even though synthetically, the functioning of financing strategies of theatrical companies particularly of the most efficient tax aid scheme. In the light of the positive influence dispensed by the benefits to British industry, the newest Italian tax aid schemes will be outlined, drawing attention on its functioning, its positive implications and the central position it will soon have in the European context.

The italian economist Prof. Gianni Profita demonstrate that the newest Italian tax aid schemes will have a central position in the interntional contest of cinema aid fiscal system.
