PromoManagers Eliminates BPA Drinkware

In light of recent concerns over the safety of items containing BPA the company has decided to take the ambitious approach of removing items that are not advertised as being BPA free.

PromoManagers provides thousands of items available for sale online at the company website and close to 800,000 total. PromoManagers President, Heather Simard, states "The removal of these items from our online and offline offerings will eliminate a number of top selling items in the industry but we feel it is important to take immediate action to insure the safety of our customers and in turn their clients."

Questions have continued to be raised about the safety of BPA drinkware with several recent studies indicating the potential for serious and long term health effects from exposure particularly in the young. "We just feel it is not worth the risk, if there is any potential danger and with alternatives available we've taken the items down permanently. We will no longer sell drinkware with BPA even if the customer requests it at this stage" said Simard. The company has also cited end user concern and believes it is important that customers recognize that the end recipients of these products may be children.

Any remaining BPA laced items are expected to be removed by Monday with replacement products being offered at an introductory discount during the month of May. "We want to provide an incentive for customers to switch to safer, healthier products and will make available discount codes for customers that have previously purchased other drinkware" stated Simard.
