Urology department at Narinder Mohan Hospital, Ghaziabad, has been updated recently and is now equipped with all world class facilities. on 29th April, 2008 first laser prostatectomy has been done by Dr. Deepak Jain. urinary catheter had been remove only 24 hours after the operation and the patient could urinate without any difficulty.
besides being the latest mode of prostate surgery, laser also has the advantages of minimal bleeding and safety in very elderly and even cardiac patients who are on antiplatelet therapy.
