Since the Postal Service began permitting consumers to design their own stamps in 2004, the demand for custom designed wedding stamps has been growing. Annie Slentz, postage designer, has seen a steady increase in personalized postage sales over the last year. Choices include wedding flowers such as calla lilies, roses, orchids, tulips and bouquets. Brides can also indulge in wedding cake postage with their initials, dates or other custom lettering.
Another line recently launched is themed postage for both nationality and destination weddings. Designs for Irish brides include rainbows, shamrocks and Irish verse.
