United States of America (Press Release) May 4, 2008 --
"It's a lot of fun living in South Carolina, but especially living by the ocean! Living on the Islands also comes with having a special seasonal awareness and certain Civic Responsibilities. Reporting these and keeping SC Islanders informed is how "The Island Connection" was born.
The outpouring of Community support we have experienced in this past year is nothing short of phenomenal and now we are about to celebrate our first Anniversary this month, on May 16th, 2008!" - The Island Connection Spokesperson
"About 3 years ago we launched The Island Eye News, the free News Service to folks dwelling on our South Carolina Islands: Sullivan's Island, Isle of Palms, Goat Island and Dewees. It soon became apparent that there was just too much Island News that needed to be covered.
From that labor of love, (The Island Eye News), came The Island Connection Newspaper...and we are already having our first Anniversary!
The outpouring of Community support we have experienced in just one short year has been outstanding! We are truly grateful and look forward to serving the people of the Islands for many more years to come."
