Ilyrian Apostolic Church will be revived after 1144 years of non-existence

The Iliryan Apostolic Church is one of the oldest Christian churches. It has been created by Apostle Paul in the Ist century AD.
On the Second Ecumenical council in Constantinople in 381 the church was declarad as schismatic and a persecution started against it. In 864 AD the church was finally defeated by the Constantinople Patriarchate.
Now in 2008, after more than 1144 years of non-existence the church will be revived again as a historic institution. A patriarch will be elected by the end of May 2008.
