Australian Sea Memorials Pty Ltd offers unique Sea Ashes Scatterings and Memorials Services Australia-wide.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) May 9, 2008 --
Australian Sea Memorials, a local Melbourne business was launched on May 5th 2008, offering unique Sea Ashes Scatterings and Memorial Services Australia-wide.
Many people are now choosing to have a loved one's ashes scattered at sea but don't know who to contact. Or perhaps they are not physically able to scatter the ashes at sea themselves but still want to uphold final requests. In some cases, ashes which are supposed to be scattered at sea are only scattered from the beach, only to wash back up on the shore, much to the local authorities’ displeasure.
Australian Sea Memorials is passionate about ensuring these desires can be carried out in the most touching and memorable way, while making the experience as easy as possible on those making the arrangements – and keeping the authorities happy.
“Over the past few years I have taken phone calls from people wanting to scatter ashes, but when they first speak to me, they are really embarrassed or unsure as to the response they will get, as if it’s a very strange request. It’s difficult enough at these times without feeling embarrassed,” says Joanne Conqueror, Director of Australian Sea Memorials.
In addition to providing a true sea experience, Australian Sea Memorials also provide the family with a Memorial plaque or certificate for Remembrance which includes the GPS markings, date, time and other important details. They offer a complete service including the options of boat and crew, biodegradable urns, Celebrant (if required), floral tributes and memorial books. They can also organise refreshments, catering and other requests if required.
Along with providing Ashes Scatterings and Memorial Services, Australian Sea Memorials offer 'Wakes on Waves' and Remembrance Voyages – a special way to remember loved ones on special dates such as Christmas, birthdays and anniversaries. In addition to all this, a fully qualified Registered Nurse is available to accompany aged or frail passengers who may require a little extra assistance whilst on board.
Although Australian Sea Memorials are based in the Port Phillip Bay and Western Port Bay region, they will be operating across Australia – wherever their services may be required.
Joanne Conqueror is available for an interview and can be contacted on the telephone number and email address below.
