Valley Non-Profit to Present Check to Lance Armstrong Foundation
Fresno area non-profit cycling group known as “Parker’s Team” set to present $20,000.00 to Lance Armstrong Foundation Saturday in Woodward Park


FRESNO, Ca – May 9, 2008 Central Valley Cycling Charitable Association, a local non-profit supporting local and national charities through cycling and related activities will present a $20,000.00 check raised by cyclists competing in the annual “Washboard 100” 100 mile bike race beginning and ending at Woodward park Saturday May 10, 2008 to the Lance Armstrong Foundation.

The 100 mile bike will be ridden by approximately 150 riders of all age and skill levels. There will be a festival in the park near the back gate from Noon-Three on Saturday. A spokesperson from the Lance Armstrong Foundation is in town from Austin to accept the donation and answer Media questions.
