Gothic stations are all over the internet now

More and more people seem to adhere to the gothic lifestyle... in recent years... many gothic radio stations started to pop up online. I have finally found one that seems to be better than most I've heard. The name is a bit strange.. Archaikus... sounds like trying to relate to something Archaic (old) which relates to the meaning of "gothic". Even tho they play alot stuff thats non-gothic style suchs as "psytrance" or even "heavy/power metal" the station seems to be trying to include those EMO / GOTHICSTYLE / StyleVamps out there in their listening population. So, bands like New Order playing "Confusion" all of the sudden is "gothic" because of the songs connection with vampires thanks to the movie "Blade". The Metal is hard sometimes to define Gothic Metal or just Metal?? Well simple rule tells me some Metal bands have a very paled looking chick as the lead singer makes it a Gothic Band ie,: Within Temptation or Nightwish. But not all bands can be labeled gothic anyway so its a very fine line there and I wouldnt blame the radio stations with bad music labeling/genres.

Well, give them a shot. The station stream is 128K stereo only, so you should be listening from a DSL/Cable broadband kind of connection. Dont bother if youre on dialup.
