Hoboken, New Jersey (May 15, 2008)—EducationDynamics, higher education’s leading marketing company dedicated to helping institutions find, enroll and retain students, has announced the addition of a second panel discussion and ten roundtable sessions to its already extensive National Dialog on Student Retention Conference program. The one-and-a-half-day conference will be held in Atlanta, Georgia June 2-3, 2008.
Featuring critical information and expert advice for not-for-profit and for-profit institutions responsible for retaining students for graduate, undergraduate, on-campus and online programs, the second panel will address the unique retention challenges presented by minority students. Entitled One Strategy Does Not Fit All: Key Tenets of Successful Minority Student Retention, the panel will be moderated by Scott Jaschik, CEO and editor of Inside Higher Ed, and will feature a panel of retention experts, including:

• Dr. Rodrick Moore, University of South Carolina

Entitled Retaining Online Degree Students: Different Needs-Different Methods, the presentation will explore how online degree students differ from their on-campus counterparts and looks at the issues surrounding their academic engagement and motivation.
