United States of America (Press Release) May 24, 2008 --
May 14, 2008 – Diamond Bar, CA. American AMP announced today that it will be servicing middle schools in Los Angeles County and neighboring Orange County with a DVD containing the TQ Digital Entertaininment and NetDragon Websoft, Inc. games. The DVD will be shipped to computer classes for teachers to hand out to their students at the end of the school year. “The idea is simple. Most teachers do not have the financing to reward their students with end of the year gifts,” commented Rudy Chavarria, Jr., president of American AMP. “Also, with the price of gas going up, teachers may not be able to afford the little extras this year.” Along with servicing the schools, American AMP is surveying the teachers with a questionnaire that may help better facilitate schools with needed classroom necessities. “Our questionnaire is basic and we are getting a great response from teachers. We are finding out what they are lacking in resources, and my goal is to help get them what they need for their students.”
When Adam Geiss, VP of Marketing for TQ Entertainment, was asked what made him feel confident targeting the middle school demographic, he replied, “Our games are being enjoyed from preteens to grown adults. We have come to realize that we are developing family games for the new generation. We feel confident with targeting the middle school demographic because they are very computer savvy. The younger generation teaches the older generation when it comes to technology.”
“We hope for the middle school demographic to teach their elders and spread the word. In return everyone can enjoy the free entertainment that we offer,” Geiss concluded.
