United States of America (Press Release) May 25, 2008 --
'Votergate 08' Unleased:
With all the grass roots efforts to march, picket and rally the DNC on May 31, 2008, the DNC had to move the Rules and Bylaws Committee Meeting. Now the different grass roots marchers have 'merged' to form what is being called the ‘Votergate 08’ Super-Rally.
The marchers are made up of a multi-cultural, multi-gender group of bi-partisan voters who state they “want to present a unified front for democracy. All voices should be heard and all votes matter in America,” states on of the grass roots organizers.
Although the Hillary Clinton campaign denies orchestrating this event, the different grass roots efforts has managed to organize an expected 10,000 ‘marchers’ who are due to arrive in Washington DC 7 AM on Saturday May 31, 2008 from all over the United States, to include Peurto Rico. The marchers range from independent voters, democrats and republicans to die-hard Clinton supporters.
It seems the democratic party did indeed stumble into an event that will 'Unite' an assortment of Americans and bring together this diverse group from all over the country;at least for one day as they rally around their honorable unified demonstration for democracy.
Ironically, contrary to the propaganda heard throughout the 2008 election, it isn't Obama that will bring this group together. The motivating factor bonding this unique mixture of protestors is the memory of what happened to Al Gore in the 2000 presidential election. Thus, the high volumes of bi-partisan participants will have their opportunity to release pent up frastrations in one seriously charged Super-Rally... 'Votergate 08.'
To compliment the event, the DNC has moved their meeting from the DC headquarters to the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel in Washington, DC. Whether this was to accommodate the expected media presence of major networks like Fox News and CNN or to confuse the protestors remains a mystery.
