New York, NY - May 28, 2008 – A new breed of travel agency has been created to address the demands of Music Lovers who like to Travel, and Travelers who love Music. Elite Music Tours takes Guided small groups of Music Lovers (maximum 24 guests per group), on exclusive VIP tours to selected Music Festivals worldwide. Guests will travel in style, to see the stars while interacting with like-minded music and travel lovers.
Elite Music Tours upcoming summer schedule includes trips to The Freihofer's Jazz Festival in Saratoga Springs, NY, The North Sea Jazz Festival in Rotterdam, The Newport Jazz Festival, The Monaco Festival de Musique and The JVC Jazz Festival in Paris, France. A one week visit to Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany is also planned. Experiencing the local cuisine, nightlife, shopping and city sites is a major part of every trip.
EMT was founded by music industry veteran J.R. Smalling. For over 30 years, J.R. has traveled the world offering his skills to some of the top performers in the music business, providing tour coordination, road management, and concert promotion expertise to artists like Harry Belafonte, Kiss, Dr. John, Third World, and George Clinton's Parliament-Funkadelic to name a few. He has worked on thousands of live shows featuring Ray Charles, Luther Vandross, Aerosmith, Gladys Knight, George Duke, The Temptations, Michel Petrucciani, Rachel Ferrel and many more.
