New Position Reflects Dynamic Growth for Bi-Coastal Agency
LOS ANGELES, CA -- Following a year of exciting growth that saw the addition of new clients that include Disney Channel, E! Networks, CBS Television Distribution and Bravo, Viewpoint Creative (www.viewpointcreative.com), the Boston-headquartered agency specializing in creative solutions for entertainment and lifestyle brands, has added Executive Producer Diana De Vries to the creative staff of the company's Los Angeles office.
"We are very fortunate to have a diverse group of talented individuals who excel at a broad range of projects," David Shilale, Viewpoint Creative's General Manager said. "In order to be successful, we need people who can listen closely to and understand each of our clients -- their needs, their brands -- and apply the proper creative and production approach. That's the ultimate challenge and our team continues to rise to that challenge."
De Vries brings an array of production experience to Viewpoint. A graduate of the University Of Southern California's Film School, she began her career as an assistant to director John McTiernan on the 1990 feature film The Hunt for Red October, and has never looked back, producing literally hundreds of projects running the gamut from advertising to music videos to broadcast to long-form television and feature film projects.
Some of the standout work on her resume includes producing award-winning promotional campaigns for ABC's The Bachelor and The Bachelorette franchise along with campaign packages for the Academy Awards, the Emmy Awards, and new seasons of LOST and Desperate Housewives. Other credits include commercials for Nike/ Wieden &Kennedy, Mazda/ WB Doner & Co, and Gatorade/Foote, Cone & Belding; marketing films for Academy Award winning camera manufacturer Panavision; and Dinosaur, an animated feature film produced for Disney. Her successful image campaign work encompasses CBS, Showtime Networks, Fox Broadcasting and Warner Bros.
Prior to joining Viewpoint Creative, De Vries produced for clients such as Best Buy, Amgen Pharmaceuticals, and DirecTV. Before that she was Director of Production, Special Projects, On-Air Promotions at ABC Television, Los Angeles.
"We are very excited to have Diana with us," added Shilale. "She brings a well-rounded background, including both client and vendor experience, as well as, strong insight into the business and creative sides of the industry. Her instincts, management style and leadership acumen line right up with Viewpoint's philosophy and focus. We look forward to continued success with Diana leading the LA team."
For De Vries, joining a company like Viewpoint Creative -- whose business model is a fusion of creative and execution, featuring the high level of creative talent clients expect from an advertising agency, coupled with deep on-site production and back-end capabilities to execute their concepts - it's a perfect fit for her experience and talents.
