DIGITAL AWARD FOR NORTH EAST ENGLAND LANGUAGE SERVICES

The awards were open to three separate business types – digital users, suppliers and innovators. In total 52 other businesses received recognition for their excellence at the ceremony which took place on Thursday 15 May.

Williams Language Solutions won the Award for its website, which is an interactive e-space providing translation and editing services, language courses and cultural training. Its functionality provides instant access to a wide range of programmes, learning materials and resources to users from across the globe.

The company has recently published a guide on business etiquette in 10 worldwide countries which is a vital tool for any business trading abroad. The guide is for sale with the title "how to speak culturese". "Culture speaks more than words", says Stefania. "The title shows that culture is indeed another language, the language of the mind."
