M. Scott Brooks selected as one of Arizona's top 35 Entrepreneurs under 35

Among the best of the best was M. Scott Brooks President/CEO of The Brooks Companies, a SMB technology consulting firm. What he does: Through his companies, Brooks provides information-technology services to mostly small and medium businesses. Real Estate Technologies provides the same service targeted at the real-estate industry. His companies have grown 30 percent to 50 percent since Brooks started them in 2005.

Challenges: Brooks experienced a few growing pains. In his application, he writes that the "growth . . . has been a bit hard to handle." He attributes his companies' ability to pull through to a dedicated team of consultants.
