Thousands people in United Kingdom join their forces and dig a shoes to support 5 km long race to fight against one of the most dangerous disease in the world - cancer. Marketa Linden [HRH Princess Marketa of Bohemia, Duchess of Windsor] will run Race For Life on 29th of June at 11am in Richmond, Greater London in Old Deer to support campaign with other people to support campaign. Marketa Linden fought with cancer in her left knee joint in her 17 - 18 years of age, her maternal aunt died last year on breast cancer and her paternal grandfather Duke of Windsor, born in Richmond Park, died on throat cancer in 1972.
People ran, jogged or walked their way through the 5km course and carry on their dresses not only numbers, but also memory of names who lost to the disease.'I don't agree with Catherine Middleton, that she follows protocol frok the book and she gave up charity race.We are learnt to work and status of princess not to born in is very tough,mainly hard work with charities. For me isn't important to win, but to join good idea for good thing. And cancer is very personal topic for me and I own very much to doctors and close people around me, who helped me to stay straight and never give up.Doctors told me, I will never walk, than never run properly or dance and look - the human will is stronger than forecasts, I cannot do only skiing or some danger sports', said Marketa Linden, who supports also charity by purchasing items in their charity shops.
The male version is Run For Moore with 5 km track to help tackle bowler cancer. The statistics of cancer are cruel - every third has cancer and 25 per cent of people with cancer died.Proceeds from Race For Life are supported by Tesco and go to funds to support fight against the most difficult disease of this time - cancer.
