This review recommends you the password database utility -- Password Safe 3.13. This version amend most bug of the old version, so it has a much more evecellent performance.
As an Open Source (free) tool, Password Safe allows you to have a different password for all the different programs and websites that you deal with, without actually having to remember all those usernames and passwords.
Password Safe 3.13 runs on PCs under Windows (95/98/NT/2000/XP/Vista). An older (but fully functional) version is available for PocketPC. Linux/Unix clones that use the same database format have also been written.
Password Safe 3.13 can keep passwords and other private information secure by using strong encryption algorithms. Strength is often measured in the number of bits used for the encryption key. Many systems commonly use between 64 and 256 bits. Most cryptographers consider 128 bits to be strong enough to take a very powerful computer many years to break. Password Safe uses dual encryption that includes both 'Blowfish' and 'Rijndael' with 256 bits each.
