Dave Prescott bids farewell to the corporate sector in the UK and joins the ActionCOACH business coaching firm.

Master Licensee Julie Wagstaff has named Dave Prescott as an ActionCOACH in England.
Prescott’s office will be located in Colchester, Essex and he will be operating in the region of East Anglia.
Prior to becoming an ActionCOACH Business Coach, Prescott spent over 25 years working in the supply chain management of a number of manufacturing and engineering companies within the UK. He specialized in the procurement of products and services dealing with both suppliers and customers.
Prescott led strategic teams to improve the systems and remove “bottlenecks” within the supply chains of the companies that he worked in.
He was instrumental in locating and negotiating contracts with suppliers in low cost countries like China and India, which led to significant cost reductions. In addition to restructuring and improving warehousing functions, he also developed and improved systems within the companies he worked for.
The dismal job market in the manufacturing and engineering industries in the UK led Prescott to look for new opportunities.
Tired of corporate life, Prescott wanted a change in lifestyle that would allow him to enjoy his career as well as his personal life.
Prescott is excited about coaching business owners, their managers and their teams in an effort to improve their businesses.
“I am looking forward to changing peoples’ lives for the better, and seeing the results of their efforts through my coaching,” he said.
A Ceroc (a dance form involving a fusion of Salsa and modern jive) dancer and instructor, Prescott is also a corporate member of the Institute of Operations Management, and plans to join the Essex Chamber of Commerce as well as the BNI.
