BK STYLE FONDATION PRESENTS FIRST ANNUAL MUSE AWARDS

United States of America (Press Release) June 13, 2008 -- June 6, 2006, New York, NEW YORK- On August 18th 2008 The BK Style Foundation (BKSF) will kick off their fundraising season by hosting the first annual Muse Awards. The awards will serve as a catalyst for the foundation’s yearly events by honoring influential community members and designers while raising money for the foundation’s cause. Known for being a prominent non profit organization in the fashion world, BKSF was designed by co founders Rick Davy and Cybele Sandy in 2004. Their mission is to nurture the talent of Brooklyn who desire a career in fashion, and strive to provide funds for young designers, as well as help build interest in the fashion industry. BKSF leads with the goal of cultivating a successful, indigenous fashion industry in Brooklyn by creating a new batch of entrepreneurs, and most importantly, generating job opportunities in the area.

The Muse Awards provide an event platform to honor individuals and group members who have been strong supporters in the Brooklyn- based fashion and entertainment industry. These citizens have inspired Brooklyn residents while demonstrating strong commitment to give back to the community.
