United States of America (Press Release) June 14, 2008 --
iRYZE, LLC is proud to announce the arrival of a revolutionary educational tool for teenagers, www.iryze.com . It is a series of internet-based workbooks that motivates teenagers to take charge of their lives and be their best on their own terms by identifying the tools that will empower them to be successful in school and life. iRYZE can be used in many different ways. It can be completed individually by the teenager, used as an advisory curriculum, incorporated into a academic class, a manual for new students transitioning into middle and high school, or as an out of school enrichment program.
iRYZE was created by Dr. Jason Stein, a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. He has been working with teenagers and families for thirteen years as a therapist and clinical supervisor. Dr. Steins' work on iRYZE evolved from years of experience with children and adolescents who develop emotional, behavioral, and academic problems as a result of not being equipped to handle the expectations of school and life. “I have been pleased by all the great feedback in regards to teenagers liking the workbooks and feeling good about themselves, as well as parents saying they wish they had something like iRYZE when they were teenagers,” commented Dr. Stein.
iRYZE focuses on the areas that impact adolescents reaching their highest level of functioning. It is a flexible workbook-based program comprised of two modules: Organizational/Educational covers developing a personal system and the corresponding study skills. Social/Emotional focuses on communication skills and self-advocacy. As part of the program, the iRYZE workbooks also give teenagers the option to add and create their own journal or artwork. The workbooks then become their personal portfolio and an important guide toward organization, doing well in school, having good relationships, and expressing their feelings and needs. Teenagers who complete iRYZE will feel more confident in school, relationships, and in life.
