October Road Fans look to Ellen DeGeneres

(Free-Press-Release.com) June 21, 2008 -- Well, looks as if the October Road fans are still at it and will not give up in their fight to bring back this show that was cancelled due to low ratings. Many of whom said that the lack of advertising of this show during it's run was the reason for it's low Nielsen ratings and eventual demise.

The fans are now in a campaign effort along with the other efforts they are continuing with such as Pay October Road Forward and their massive mailing to ABC/Disney executives Stephen McPherson and Anne Sweeney, to contact Ellen DeGeneres to try and persuade her to promote the huge following this show has in hopes to gain the attention of the media and changing the networks mind and bring this show back. The fans believe that since Ellen is "for the people" that she would perhaps help. One fan sent her a season 1 dvd, part of Pay October Road Forward, hoping that she received it, watched, and fell in love with it just as they have. They then did a massive mailing to Ellen in an effort to create a buzz and get a mention of this on her show.

Will these fans stop here? Probably not I would think. The dedication of these fans for this show in incredible.
