United Kingdom of Great Britain & N. Ireland (Press Release) June 25, 2008 --
Parents of children born between 6th April 1985 and 5th April 2003 who were working, could be entitled to Child Tax Allowance rebates of £520 or £1,040 – provided they make a claim by 31st January 2009.
According to Inland Revenue agents AVS Agencies, millions of pounds are potentially owed to British taxpaying parents under the old Child Tax Allowance scheme (which has since been replaced by Child Tax Credit). “The allowance was made through a parent’s tax code and was randomly allocated rather than applied for, and many parents were left out and remain unaware of their entitlement.”
With the deadline for 2002/03 tax year rebates fast approaching (31st January 2009), AVS Agencies provides a professional, no rebate – no fee service for any parent wishing to check out their entitlement to a Child Tax Allowance rebate.
“All we need to start is an individual’s PAYE code for 2002/03, this is obtainable from a P60 or any payslip for that tax year or, alternatively, from your local tax office. “
The procedure is quite painless and just requires a few personal details and the completion of three simple forms.
“The Revenue won’t offer a tax rebate of its own accord, and with the onus on the individual tax payer to take the initiative and claim, seeking professional help to smooth the way can be very helpful. “
“We assure clients of a confidential service that will exploit our professional tax knowledge on their behalf.”
Note to editors:
AVS Agencies have been involved in dealing with Income Tax rebates since 1993 and offers individual tax payers a nationwide service on a no rebate, no fee basis.
