Two surrogate mother dogs diagnosed pregnant with three fetuses with estimated delivery due of July 25
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) June 27, 2008 --
RNL Bio Co Ltd (RNL) announced that two surrogate mother dogs were diagnosed as pregnant with three healthy fetuses. This event would be the world’s first commercial pet dog cloning. Last February, an American woman, Bernann, ordered the commercial cloning of her deceased dog, Booger. Now she expects to meet three puppies next month.
RNL originally scheduled the completion of Booger’s cloning by Feb 2009. Newly adopted efficient and economical cloning technology developed by RNL and Seoul National University made the much earlier delivery, possible.
RNL informed Bernann of the pregnancy news and she plans to fly to Korea to meet her puppies in mid August. She said “I am so happy with the successful cloning of my precious Booger. Thank God. I have prayed God to meet Booger again and He has finally responded.”
Dr. Jeong-Chan Ra, CEO of the firm said “We will try to not only please pet lovers who are in suffering for the loss of their beloved pets, but also secure the exclusive rights to this cloning technology”
