Livonia, MI, June 29, 2008 – The dazzling, sizzling lights of Hollywood will shine on Motown’s free digital media festival, Project Accessible Hollywood, from July 14-20 at Madonna University, located in Livonia, Michigan. PAH-Fest returns for its second year at Madonna, as storytellers and visionaries gather for the chance to portray the art found in lives of average people and to also rub elbows with the best of the movie industry.
Project Accessible Hollywood’s (PAH) growth, coupled together with the passions of its founder, Christopher Coppola; make it possible for Detroit’s visionaries to put their best foot forward. Christopher Coppola’s EARS XI Studio ushers in this PAH-Fest opportunity; he is the nephew of the director Francis Coppola and the brother of the actor Nicholas Cage.
Along with key seminars given by Coppola and other Hollywood professionals, the cornerstone of PAH-Fest will be the Mobi-Flicks competition. The competition is open to all registered participants. PAH-Fest offers free use of equipment, access to mentors, and training. The culmination of efforts shall result in a six-minute story, which will be judged by a panel. A group of students from Madonna University won the Mobi-Flicks competition the previous year.
In addition, there will be cell phone art and self-portrait contests, a virtual concert by Ridha Ibrahim, and a performance by Broadway actor John White, Jr. all held at Madonna University, near I-96 and Levan Road. All events are free, open to the public, and can be seen at www.pahnation.com, on Channel 13 in Livonia, Michigan, and in the Second Life Virtual World.
