K-Rise Systems announces Sales Force integration with their EASYProcess 4.2 development suite
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) July 3, 2008 --
Recently a K-Rise customer voiced the need to automate the process of bringing customer confirmed sales quotes into JD Edwards from SalesForce.com. Suman Prasad, EASYProcess’ chief architect: “While EASYProcess had the capability to build a Sales Force integration piece it was clear that we needed to take better advantage of the web services that Sales Force has to offer. EP 4.2 gives users the ability to pull any of the SF.com web service methods into the software allowing them to make full use of the workflow and web portals of EASYProcess as well as its connectivity functionality”.
The EASYProcess (EP) toolset is designed to give in-house development staff the ability to quickly and easily bring data into and out of JD Edwards into any other development project. More
than just a connector, EASYProcess allows for the instant creation of web portals to make this data available to users and customers. Because of its ability to combine data, workflow and web portals EASYProcess allows for the creation of a wide range of applications including, eCommerce, Customer/Vendor Self Service portals, approval processes (ie PO & GL) and various integration projects.
Examples of Sales Force Functionality now available in EASYProcess:
1. Accounts from SF.com to JD Edwards address book using business functions.
2. Contacts from SF.com to JD Edwards who’s who.
3. Create orders realtime in JDE by converting quote/opportunity from SF.com
EASYProcess 4.2 was made available to K-Rise customers in early
May and as of June 15th is available to the JD Edwards community at large. EASYProcess is World, EnterpriseOne and iSeries compatible.
