The Independent Business Women’s Circle (IBWC) will present a forum focusing on methods, modes and materials to effectively advance your business on Tuesday, July 8th from 12:30 - 2:30 at Atria Cutter Mill (formerly Sterling Glen), 96 Cuttermill Road, Great Neck. “Proven Practices for Promoting Your Business” features a panel of experts drawn predominately from IBWC membership who will cover topics such as:
• Staging an attention-getting event
• Utilizing newsletters to target your clients
• Writing and distributing powerful press releases
• Composing a persuasive direct marketing letter
• Employing PSA’s and radio/TV ads to broadcast your company name
• Attracting more customers by putting your business on the Web
• Understanding search engine optimization, keywords and pay per click advertising, using Google, Yahoo & MSN
• Launching a successful blog
• Perpetually advertising through promotional items
“As the economy shifts downward, it is vital to keep your business visible so you can stand out among the competition,” says Gayle Naftaly, Communications Director for IBWC and president of access.office. “This seminar will explore the many options available to small businesses and illustrate how to best take advantage of those options.” Speakers include Karen Bomzer, MINYA Concepts; Tamara Bowman, Taraware; Rebecca Gardner, CBS News 880; Regina Finkelstein, Dr. Promo; Greg Morris, NIA IT Solutions and Gayle Naftaly, access.office. The event is open to the public free of charge as part of IBWC’s open house policy for June, July and August. It includes a light luncheon buffet.
