The commissioning of this Centre is a significant milestone in the development of Moolchand Medcity as Asia’s largest single site multi hospital complex (6 hospital, 1000+ beds).
Dr. Yoganand Shastri, Hon. Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of Delhi inaugurated the Centre for Emergency and Urgent Care™. Speaking on the occasion Dr. Shastri said, “Moolchand has yet again demonstrated that it can create world class facilities in the heart of Delhi. This new centre reflects a paradigm shift for emergency services and is a long overdue addition to emergency services for the capital.”
He further added, “I am glad to see a Trust hospital like Moolchand providing facilities which are superior to corporate hospitals. Moolchand will always have a special place in the heart of the people of Delhi given its half century legacy of affordable care and tradition of charitable giving’s.”
The Centre for Emergency and Urgent Care™ has been designed by international experts to keep “Patients First” and to meet their emergency wishlist: quick and easy access, specialized and dedicated emergency physicians and staff, super specialist backup on call and all essential back-up facilities like diagnostics, intensive care, blood bank, emergency operation theatre and advanced cardiac life support ambulance service (lifeline 4200 0102).
