Arsco Creative Media Systems executives attend COMDDAP Cebu 2008, Cebu’s biggest IT exhibition

Executive Director Oscar Fudalan Jr. and Director for Sales and Operations Dennis Borromeo-Buagas, both visionaries for Arsco Creative Media Systems, attended Cebu’s biggest IT exhibition and procurement platform, which was held at SM City Cebu last July 3-5, 2008. Dubbed COMDDAP Cebu 2008, short for Computer Manufacturers, Distributors and Dealers Association of the Philippines, the conference was dedicated to channeling new ways to bring ICT vendors to their market, and the market nearer to emerging technologies, and bringing communities, towns and cities, and countries closer together.

Representing the most prestigious international and local names in Information and Communications Technology (ICT), COMDDAP was keeping with its vision of promoting and elevating the standards of information technology in the Philippines with its yearly exhibits and selling shows held in key cities all over the country. It was sponsored by a number of cutting-edge technology corporations and academic institutions across the globe.

This year, there were 1,700 attendees that enjoyed exceptional keynote exhibitors such as BenQ Corporation, Brother International Corporation, Canon, CBX Corporation, Epson Philippines, MSI-ECS Philippines, and Sanyo, among others. The success and thus popularity of the conference has grown so rapidly since its inception that COMDDAP events have become the benchmark for ICT and other related industries. Since the association held its first exhibit in Cebu in 1996, COMDDAP EXPO CEBU continues to be the event to watch for, attracting both tech-savvy business people and end-users alike.

In response to attending the conference, Borromeo-Buagas stated that “the largest accomplishment was to come back energized, to make an impact, and to succeed at making a change.” Fudalan felt similarly, as seen in his following remark: “attending this conference was timely; I now feel charged to be the best I can be in this field and to help others realize their goals in ICT.” They both eagerly share the goal to double the number of Arsco associates attending each year.
