Trinidad and Tobago, Republic of (Press Release) July 9, 2008 --
More than 200 Form 4 students received life-changing career advice from former Senator, Harvard-educated lawyer and Caribbean jewelry designer, Liz Mannette, at a Self Development seminar hosted by Junior Achievement of Trinidad & Tobago on Saturday 17th May 2008 at the St. Mary’s College in Port of Spain.
Mannette shared principles from her new book, “Create your Garden of Eden: Change Your World in 7 Days like God Did” which uses the Creation as a road map to create one’s ideal life.
All students were given access to a free ebook and a specially created workbook to help them work through the 7 step process from darkness and nothing, to a life in which they could do exactly what they were created to do.
“As a former Junior Achiever, I always wanted to be in business for myself, but found myself on a road that led to one of the traditional professions,” says Mannette. “I wanted to present a road map that today’s students could use to identify their unique talents, and then plan their careers and structure their lives around these talents.”
Several students immediately visited the CreateYourGOE.com website and have written Mannette about how they plan to change their lives based on what they read. Due to this new interest, Mannette has invited all the 2008 Junior Achievers to email her their career goals and will work with them via the web over the summer vacation to draft a plan that could help them achieve their dreams.
Mannette’s book is available for purchase at Amazon.com, and the complementary workbook and ebook is available at www.createyourgoe.com..
