Local Celebrity gets Honored by The Visit Sedona TV Show Ellen Degeneres Show

Carol Ehni , a five year resident of Sedona, recently celebrated her 75th birthday and received a phone call from Ellen Degeneres live on her show “Ellen”. Allen Elfman of “Visit Sedona TV” happened to catch a rerun of the show on Tuesday, July 8th, and called Carol to request that she appear on his next show (Friday, July 11th) as the honored first guest to which she happily agreed. During their conversation Carol related that she has a DVD of the “Ellen” show on which she was featured, but has no DVD player on which to view it. She also divulged that it was her son, who lives in The Village of Oak Creek , who asked her to relocate to Sedona and that her best birthday was May 10th 1976, when she actually flew a plane by herself.

After his phone call with Carol, Allen went to work. So Carol can watch her appearance on the “Ellen” show he asked Walgreens in Sedona to provide her with a DVD player. Olde Sedona Bar & Grill has donated a dinner for two with tip included so Carol can enjoy a nice night out. Sedona Green has donated two Sedona Packs (organic shirts for comfort). In case there happen to be parts of Sedona which Carol hasn’t seen yet, A Day In The West is providing a tour for two. Because they know that every woman loves chocolate, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory is giving her a boxed gift for two. Sedona International Film Festival has also donated two tickets for a premier because Carol loves the movies. The Spa at Sedona Rouge donated a spa treatment for two because Carol deserves to be pampered. Last but not least of these generous local businesses is Red Rock Bi Planes & Helicopter who want Carol to enjoy the skies of Sedona with a complimentary tour for two.

Allen said he intends to make Carol his first guest on the show, segueing to the new Mayor of Sedona, The Honorable Rob Adams , who will wish Carol a happy belated birthday and congratulate her for being a prestigious citizen of beautiful Sedona.
