OK so you’ve heard it all before; you must set goals to be successful. It’s THE DIFFERENCE between modest success & millionaire success.

Well, that’s not ENTIRELY true.

Setting goals & writing them down is one thing. Some people do but most never actually achieve their goals.
Why? I’ll come on to that later.

Despite your best efforts you’ll never achieve the success you’re looking for if you don’t set goals. We at least agree on that, right?
Ask yourself "What goals have I written down?"
Most people never set goals. They have a vague idea in their head & go from day to day without success. They don’t know where they’re going so they don’t get there!
THE biggest roadblock to goal setting is YOU. Setting goals needs you to actually write down your dreams with a date of achievement.
Get in this habit - it leads to $$$ in the bank.

WRITTEN goals are the lifeblood of your business. Statistics show over & over that small businesses fail within the first five years. You want to become a success not a statistic, right?
So how do you become successful at setting goals?
Firstly write down what you want to achieve, the intentions you have for your business? Put dates of achievement on.
Get some paper. Start NOW. Be bold. Write them all down.
Think BIG! Be clear. Be accurate (ie “I make $1,000,000 per year by 31 December 2008”).
OK, now the tricky part.
Do you feel like you can achieve your goals? Do you actually believe you can achieve them?

Ah! The look I see you giving your computer screen right now could melt ice. "Of course I can achieve my goals! Why else would I have written them down?"
Well, writing them down is all fine but if you don't believe deep down that you can achieve your goals they’re useless.
If you don’t believe you can achieve your goals, you can't.
If you don’t truly feel you can achieve your goals absolutely, you won't. You must be crystal clear.
Tough pill to swallow, I know. So how do you do this?
This is where your mindset comes in to play - the other half of the battle. Let's take this process a step further. Pay attention:

In your mind see the goals you wrote down as already achieved. What does it look like? You've nailed it. How do you feel? What is your life like?
Go there right now & WRITE DOWN that part too. Get into the state of mind as having already achieved the goal.
Assume the feeling of success. Stay in that state of mind. Once you actually feel the outcome you’ll then be able to attract your goals.
This is a fundamental principal that stands the test of time. DON’T take it lightly.
It's really a two step process, yes?
