TODAY AN OLD FRIEND CALLED ME ABOUT A NEW COMPANY CALLED THAT HE CALLED LIFEMAX.
AFTER LISTENING TO MY FRIEND, I HAVE THE FOLLOWING CONCERNS;
MY FRIEND TOOK MONEY THAT HIS FAMILY NEEDED (HIS INCOME TAX REFUND CHECK) AND PAID $1,269.00 TO GET STARTED WITH LIFEMAX COMPANY.
THERE IS JUST NO EXCUSE FOR COMPANIES TO FRONT END LOAD PRODUCTS TODAY.
THIS PRACTICE IS WRONG AND UNACCEPTABLE.
MY FRIEND WENT ON TO DESCRIBE THE FOLLOWING “RED FLAGS”.
THE CONSUMER’S BIG RED FLAG IS THE COMPANY CHARGES A $69.00 FEE TO BECOME A DISTRIBUTOR + $300.00, $1,200 OR $4,000.00 (IN PRODUCT PURCHASES) TO ACTIVATE...
THE HOME BASED BUSINESS MLM INDUSTRY HAS BECOME A CARTEL LOOKING TO TAKE IN DESPERATE CONSUMERS AT A TIME WHEN THE ECONOMY IS SLOWING.
I AM SAD TO SAY THAT LESS THAN ONE OUT OF HUNDRED COMPANIES IN THIS INDUSTRY ARE GOOD COMPANIES WITH A TRUE IN DEMAND PRODUCT OR SERVICE.
DON’T GET TAKEN BY MULTI LEVEL COMPANIES.. LOOK FOR THE RED FLAGS BEFORE YOU SIGN UP OR BUY!

I think your friend is going to be okay with this one...
I've been all over this one and I know I'm going to come off sounding like a plant from the company but I'm anything but.
It's true that there are some red flags, that's why I've been investigating it. Check this out...

They fit all the characteristics but the first one & at this point in time (not a big history) but I'm still okay with it.
You DO have to pay a small start up fee ($69.95), but you don't HAVE to buy bulk product or sign up distributors. They encourage you to, but it's not a requirement. (I know because I signed up like your friend & I haven't recruited a single distributor.)

If you don't know already, Paul Rogers of LifeMax is a current member of the DSA (Direct Sellers Association) International Council. The DSA "Code of Ethics" clearly states that:
Pyramid schemes are illegal and companies operating pyramids are not permitted to be members of the DSA.
In other words....just because it looks like a pyramid doesn't necessary make it a "scheme". It just has a hierarchy. Every company does. I had a hard time getting past the whole pyramid thing myself.
As for paying commissions...they are. Every week. Period. I've seen the checks.
The most IMPORTANT thing tho is the product. It works and I know because I've been eating it. It's frickin amazing. I KNOW it sounds far fetched, but if you research the scientist behind it, he's golden. Nothing hinky, no reason to doubt him. I can't find anything bad about him other than the fact some people are ticked that he's using MLM to market it.
If more info comes to light that I haven't seen yet, I might change my mind if things change, but so far so good. Give em a chance....if they don't live up to their promises, there's plenty of time to go after them. Worse case scenario is people buy a lot of product and that's not bad at all. Somebody's going to want it if they don't...not a doubt in my mind. It's gooooooooood stuff :) Even if I never sell to anybody else, the discount I get for being a distributor make it worth it for me. I just hope they don't run out.

COMMENT REGARDING LIFEMAX
You should consider doing research and consent to trying the signiture grain. I have never felt better. Unlike other companies that use network marketing this one is legitimate. Those start up prices are simply a discount rate to buy the product in bulk so you can let your friends and family feel the benefits of the product without making them pay for it all upfront. Do your research. When your friend makes bank you will regret it.

Also, please learn more about the process of becoming a distributor before posting negative publicity. You do NOT have to spend $4,000 to become a distributor. In my opinion, $69.95 for your own website, hosted events nationwide, etc etc etc. is a great deal.
